Posebna izdaja J1 spominja na Junkers J1 - prvo leteče kovinsko letalo v zgodovini letalstva, ki ga je razvil Junkers. Do takrat so bila letala izdelana le iz lahkih sestavnih delov, kot so les, tkanina in žične vrvi. Njihova pomanjkljivost je bila, da so potrebne zunanje opore povzročale upor, koristni tovor in varnost pa sta bila seveda omejena.
Hugo Junkers je bil prepričan, da je te temeljne težave mogoče rešiti z vgradnjo vzvodov v kovinska krila. Vendar se je zdelo, da je nemogoče, da bi kovina letela. Z intenzivnimi raziskavami na področju aerodinamike je Professor Hugo Junkers uspel zasnovati optimalno obliko kovinskih kril. S tem je revolucionarno spremenil konstrukcijo letal. Letalo J1 je bilo dokončano leta 1915 in je brezhibno poletelo na svojem prvem testnem letu. To je bil edini polet, ki ga je J1 opravil, vendar se je kljub temu zapisal v zgodovino letalstva.
Model J1 je strogo omejen na 1915 ur v spomin na leto izdelave 1915.

Beautiful watch, perfect size on the wrist, a clean, simple yet elegant design, versatile as it can be worn dressy or casual. Easy to read luminous hands. Glass backed case is a nice and interesting touch. Bravo!

Nice looking watch with...
Nice looking watch with very good finish for the price. The crystal case back is really nice and this is something that you find in more expensive watches. I like the light-brown leather strap that gives the watch a vintage aviation look. I bought a blue leather strap that makes the watch looking more formal. With the choice of leather and NATO straps this watch can be very flexible for wearing it in different occasions. It’s about 15-20 seconds / day fast and has a small second hand stutter which is normal from the Miyota movement. Very light and comfortable on the wrist. I got a nice serial number too . Also very good customer service from Junkers. Overall happy with the watch and excellent value for a limited edition watch.

Got mine today 261/1915. Looks really good. What is missing in Specs: Fluorescent: hand, index, and that J1plane picture is fluorescent also.

Ich habe diese Uhr meinem...
Ich habe diese Uhr meinem Mann zum 50'er geschenkt und es war ein Volltreffer! Er trägt sie jeden Tag und das obwohl er noch eine weitere Fliegeruhr von IWC besitzt! Das Design mit dem...
Das Design mit dem Lederarmband und dem blauen Zifferblatt finde ich sehr ansprechend und gelungen. Ab zu warten wir wohl sein, wie sich das Miyota Werk in punkto Genauigkeit schlagen wird? Ich besitze mehrere Junkers Uhren auch Chronometer, mit denen ich bisher sehr zufrieden bin. Eine Junkers 6826-5 Edition 3 Eurofighter, ist zur Zeit nach der Einlaufphase (ca. fünf Monate) zum Feinregulieren und ich hoffe, dass auch die meine Ansprüche in punkto Genauigkeit erfüllen wird? Sonst laufen alle meine Junkers Uhren zwischen + 1 und + 5 Sekunden pro Tag, also sehr genau.
